What a wonderful piece of FREE software. Thank you. :-D
Is it possible to import cards via CSV, Excel, or text files? Ditto for participants. I have 700+ cards to create. Doing so manually is cost-prohibitive. OptimalSort lets me import cards from a CSV file, but is limited to one level of categories. Your software allows multi-level categories, but doesn't seem to allow importing data.
Thanks in advance :-) v
Response: You don't need to import Excel files. You create your cards in Excel in the format as exactly the one and order in the card entry form. For the Excel format, you can create a record, copy the row and paste it to a Notepad/Excel. It will clearly tell you the format. After you created all the fields of cards in Excel, select and copy the card fields from Excel and paste them over the card entry form in UXSort. Then all the content will be added in. Don't forget to save the project. I am still working on the multi-level initial categorization. There is a workaround for it but sometimes it provides deuplicates. If you don't mind, you may try it. - Assume you have a flat set of cards, you create a user, sort them into a hierarchy (many levels as you wish) and save the project. - Then you open the project file *.csp in Notepad. - You replace the initical card with the cards already sorted. (I am working on the multi-level categorization of initial cards now. Stay tuned...)

Thanks for a wonderful tool (UX Sort). I think we're going to use it for our next round of user research :)
I also saw you had a neat test data logger available, and so I downloaded the .xls file... but I haven't been able to get the userform to run. For some reason, when I press "F5", I get the option to run either the "OnRunClock" or "StopClock" macros, but the userform itself is not activated.
I feel like this is a dumb issue that has to do with my Excel settings, but I haven't been able to find the answer in any of my Google searches.... so I thought I'd ask you :)
