UXLogger is a simple and open-source data logger that fits your portable usability logging needs. By its nature, it is a Visaul Basic program running on top of Microsoft Excel. Therefore, you should be able to see all the source code and the configuration of the logger.

- Use of this free program follows the GNU General Public License Agreement.
- After the file is downloaded, you can open it using Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007.
- Enable Visual Basic/Macro for running VB or macro programs.
- Go the Visual Basic development environment. You should see this Logger form. Click on the Logger form to get focus.
- Press F5 to run the form. You should see the following screenshot. (Please note, you need to click on the Form in the Visual Basic enviornment and then press F5.)
Click uxlogger.xls to download the Excel file with the logger included in its Visual Basic form.
Use uxlogger after download
- When you open the file, check the ReadMe worksheet on how to use it.
- After you complete step 1 to 3, you can select a task and start logging. You can hit Enter twice to move to next log.
